IFC Films has released the First Official Trailer for the writer-director Ruba Nadda’s drama-thriller “October Gale,” which stars Patricia Clarkson, Scott Speedman, Tim Roth and Callum Keith Rennie. Watch the trailer below:
The film was produced by Blue Ice Pictures’ Daniel Iron and executive produced by Kirk D’Amico, Christine Vachon, Emily Alden, Lance Samuels, Steven Silver and Neil Tabatznik.
“October Gale” had its world premiere at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, where Myriad Pictures handled worldwide sales.
Plot:
"A doctor takes in a mysterious man who washes ashore at her remote cottage with a gunshot wound. Quickly they both learn the killer has arrived to finish the job, while a storm has cut them off from the mainland."
“Ruba Nadda has created an incredibly gripping and psychologically intense thriller,” said Jonathan Sehring, president of Sundance Selects/IFC Films. “We are proud to be working again with Ruba and Patricia Clarkson, two incredibly gifted talents, who have reunited here for the first time since ‘Cairo Time.'”
The film will release sometime in 2015.
